New Beta version exosuits, rigs, modules, and game types including Time Loop Rebellion and Custom Match are available in Exoprimal Season 4.

Exoprimal’s prospective crossovers with Capcom properties are a source of excitement for fans, who are hoping that 2024 will bring possible Dino Crisis material.

As part of its Season 4 trailer, Capcom’s third-person dinosaur shooter Exoprimal has disclosed an impending partnership with Mega Man. Exoprimal, which was released in July 2023, keeps enhancing the user experience by releasing new material on a regular basis.

Capcom has integrated the game with many of its own brands since it was initially published. The first was the Street Fighter crossover for Exoprimal, in which users could assume control of Chun-Li, Guile, and Ryu in addition to using several of their well-known moves. Subsequently, in January, a cooperation called Monster Hunter was launched, introducing like content from another well-known Capcom brand. It seemed only inevitable that Mega Man and Capcom would work together, and now players get a sneak peek at what to expect.

In its Season 4 Overview video, Capcom unveiled the Mega Man partnership for Exoprimal, teasing the kind of material to be included in the crossover. The preview featured a number of exosuit skins and emotes with a Mega Man theme, along with a task teased to pit players against Yellow Devil, the renowned Mega Man boss. Players may gather a wide variety of outfits in Exoprimal, but as of right now, this clip just features Mega Man and Air Man. The crossover was given merely a general “soon” release date rather than a specific one.

Exoprimal’s Mega Man Collaboration

But the teaser wasn’t only about Mega Man; it gave viewers a thorough preview of what to expect from Season 4. Along with new rigs and modules, new exosuits from the Beta version were displayed. Even more game options for Exoprimal are on the horizon. The first is Time Loop Rebellion, a challenging 10-player co-op mode. This mode, which is meant to be played again to acquire cosmetics and other prizes, pits players against the game’s ending monster, the Behemoth, in an even more formidable form. The second option, Custom Match, lets users create a cross-platform lobby for any mission, stage, or mode. For those who only want to play the last boss fight, there will also be a final Quick Brawl mode.

Being an Exoprimal fan is thrilling right now, since there won’t be a shortage of stuff in the future. It will be intriguing to see what the developer has planned for the game going forward, especially with multiple Capcom collaborations already out and Mega Man on the horizon. Though it hasn’t happened yet, it was hinted late last year that Exoprimal would receive Dino Crisis material. It makes the most sense of any possible Capcom crossover, especially considering the dinosaur connection, therefore many fans are hoping it will happen in 2024.
