In World of Warcraft Classic, druids are a flexible class that now have even more build possibilities thanks to the Season of Discovery runes.

Druids are a versatile class in World of Warcraft Classic that may be challenging to master, but the steep learning curve is tempered by the availability of all Roles and the ideal time to roam in the open world. Druids’ SoD runes in the Season of Discovery not only enhance the class’s multiple playstyles but also bestow upon it a much-desired ability that the Alliance has never had before: Windfury, thanks to the Wild Strikes rune.

There were twelve SoD Druid Runes available in Phase One for the Chest, Legs, and Gloves slots. Six more Druid Runes were introduced in Phase Two for the Boots and Belt slots, bringing the total number of Druid Runes across all five slots to eighteen. Every Druid SoD rune’s placement and effect are described in depth in this guide.

Updated by Erik Petrovich on March 1, 2024: The SoD Druid Rune meta is always changing as a result of the regular upgrades that the Season of Discovery has received thus far. Because of a random SoD patch or hotfix, certain runes that might have seemed pointless early in a Phase could end up being quite potent thereafter. Once you reach maximum level, it’s a good idea to locate every last SoD Druid Rune location rather than worrying about which Druid Runes are the greatest. This way, you’ll have all of your options at your disposal and can quickly adapt to the SoD meta rather than having to go back and gather Runes that you missed.
