Throughout the Tekken series, Heihachi engaged in some very heinous deeds because of his fixation on gaining as much power as possible.

HIGHLIGHTS

  • Numerous characters in Tekken exhibit Heihachi Mishima’s vicious and menacing demeanor, demonstrating his enormous impact.
  • Heihachi has committed heinous crimes such as kidnapping Jin, murdering Michelle’s father, and letting his own father go hungry.
  • Heihachi doesn’t express regret for anything he has done, including killing his own wife, pushing his kid down a cliff, or conducting experiments on Steve.

One of the most vicious and deadly villains in all of Tekken is Heihachi Mishima, who frequently goes to great measures to achieve his goals, even if it means jeopardizing the safety of his own family. Even though Heihachi doesn’t directly present in Tekken 8, his enormous impact on the universe is nonetheless felt by a large number of the characters. Even though his daughter Reina displays some of her father’s arrogant and frightening demeanor, this is but a small sample of the guy as he truly was in his later years.

It’s safe to assume that Heihachi has engaged in some heinous crimes over his numerous Tekken series appearances—acts that only a person of his stature and power could possibly get away with. Without a question, Heihachi makes the Tekken universe a safer place, but it never hurts to reflect on the worst things he’s ever done while serving as an enemy and what motivated him to act that way in the first place.

Jin’s kidnapping during a competition
If Heihachi can get closer to the devil gene, then he isn’t beyond playing dirty.

occurs in Tekken 4.
Even while there is an Iron Fist Tournament in almost every Tekken game where warriors from all over the world may compete against one another to see who is the strongest, the person in charge of these events generally has more darker motives. In the instance of Tekken 4, Heihachi declared the competition in an attempt to get genetic material from those with the perilous Devil Gene, especially Jin and Kazuya, who he was certain would achieve great things.

But instead of allowing them to compete equally in their matches,Just before the semi-finals start, Heihachi makes the decision to kidnap Jin so he can face Kazuya directly. After beating Kazuya, he brings his two relatives to Hon-Maru, where Heihachi uses their initial encounter to trick Kazuya into revealing his Devil form by exposing him to his son. Heihachi is a competent fighter, but he’s not beyond using dishonest tactics, particularly if there’s a possibility he may obtain the Devil Gene.

murdering Michelle’s dad
Michell’s father and his whole tribe were brutally murdered by Heihachi whilst on a quest to find a mysterious pendant.

Happens in Tekken 2

Heihachi finally discovered that Michelle’s father was aware of the whereabouts of the enigmatic necklace, which was purported to be able to pacify the fury of the powerful Ogre, and made the decision to capture him. A slaughter broke out as Heihachi and his soldiers eliminated Michelle’s father along with his whole tribe. It goes without saying that Michelle was scarred by this awful incident and was inspired to participate in the Iron Fist Tournament in order to exact retribution. Sadly, she is unable to do so after learning she is insufficiently powerful.

Michelle truly approaches Heihachi in Tekken 3 to warn him about the threat posed by Ogre, but the sour old man kidnaps her in order to take the necklace for himself. Heihachi will seize any chance to flaunt his unparalleled might and power, but in the end, he will undoubtedly make much more enemies than friends as a result.

Heihachi staged a tournament to entice Ogre,
and he didn’t give a damn about the participants’ safety as long as Ogre showed there.

occurs in Tekken 3.

A hungry and extraordinarily powerful creature known as Ogre kills Jin’s mother, Jun, just a few minutes into the Tekken 3 tale. Jin’s confidence is utterly destroyed by this incident since he feels that he is not powerful enough to defend the people he cares about. Heihachi, who has subsequently discovered the boy’s potential, approaches him, and Jin trains day and night in anticipation of the King of Iron Fist Tournament, when he will be able to demonstrate his strength.

While Jin performs admirably in his fights with the other fighters, it quickly becomes apparent that Heihachi had planned up the entire competition specifically to bring Ogre out, which is the only reason he had made Jin so powerful. Heihachi obviously couldn’t care less about the safety of his participants, even going so far as to shoot Jin in the head when Ogre eventually appears, despite the fact that this one creature has the ability to eliminate every fighter in the arena if it so chooses.

Playing With Steve
The only person to survive Heihachi’s sickening and cruel experiments was Steve.

In Tekken 7 and Tekken Tag Tournament 2, mentioned

Heihachi devised a genetic engineering scheme to try to imbue individuals with a synthetic Devil Gene that would have the same power as the original in an effort to equal the enormous power that the Devil Gene held. Even though many of his unlucky victims perished in the process, everyone’s favorite boxer, Steve Fox, was able to survive the tests and ultimately escape the institution with the assistance of his doctor, Emma.

By the time Steve leaves the institution, his past has become a little murky, but he’s probably not aware of the horrifying experiments done on him as a child, and it’s unclear if those experiments have improved his physical strength in any way. Nevertheless, it is evident how insane and deranged Heihachi is given that he experimented on real kids in an attempt to develop a strong protégé.

Murdering Kazumi
Heihachi is willing to eliminate any potential traitors, even if they happen to be his own spouse.

seen in Tekken 7’s flashback

Even though she was a host of the Devil Gene, Heihachi’s late wife Kazumi was able to sense the potential devastation her husband’s obsession with the Devil Gene could create if it ever got out of hand. She also saw that Heihachi was heading down a very dark road because of this passion. It comes as no surprise when Heihachi fights Kazumi after questioning her husband about it, defeating her even in her Devil Form.

Heihachi ultimately overcame her, but after that he could not risk having a traitor in his midst, so he snapped the neck of his own wife to be sure she would never betray him again. Heihachi showed little to no regret for killing Kazumi, even though she begged him to let her go, telling him that doing so would simply feed the cycle of violence, which is exactly what happened with Kazuya. He then killed her for personal gain.

Making His Father Go Without Food
After robbing his father of everything, Heihachi had Jinpachi starve to death in a cell.

occurs in Tekken 5 and is alluded to in Tekken Tag Tournament 2.

Heihachi’s father Jinpachi is a seasoned fighter who is arguably just as strong as Heihachi, albeit not many individuals in the Tekken universe can match him in a battle. Naturally, Heihachi never intended for there to be competition, so he arranges a takeover of his father’s business to seize its wealth and assets for himself.

When Jinpachi tries to get the Mishima Zaibatsu back from Heihachi only to be beaten, his own son chooses to throw him in a cell underneath the Hon-Maru, where he would gradually starve to death before his corpse becomes possessed by a mysterious demonic creature. It is utterly inexcusable and disgusting that Heihachi was prepared to act in such a way toward his own father in order to obtain a bit more power, especially in light of the method he chose.

launching Kazuya off a precipice
As a cruel test, Heihachi threw his own son down a cliff.

seen in Tekken 7’s flashback

The young child vowed to get vengeance on his father when the latter mercilessly murdered Kazuya’s mother, but it soon became clear that he lacked the strength and experience necessary to defeat Heihachi in his present form. Heihachi would thus constantly chastise Kazuya, bringing him to the brink of death each time they engaged in combat and displaying no regard for the security of his own kid. As part of a cruel test, Heihachi determined one day that he would drop Kazuya, his own kid, from a cliff in an attempt to check whether he truly did possess the Devil Gene and if he was strong enough in general to survive such a horrible encounter.

That Heihachi was willing to risk killing his son in cold blood in order to test his strength isn’t going to win him any father of the year awards anytime soon, even though Kazuya did undoubtedly survive an unfortunate fall from a cliff. Heihachi appears to take great pleasure in the notion that his family is built on a never-ending cycle of revenge and bloodshed. This one deed demonstrated that despite everything he had already gone through, finding and gaining actual strength and power remained his top priority.
