The Fortnite Team

Winterfest was only the start. The real fight is about to start as the Turtles make their comeback in Cowabunga, Fortnite Battle Royale, to take on Shredder. Cowabunga is now live in Fortnite Battle Royale version 28.20 Feb 9 hotfix! Grab weapons like Michelangelo’s Nunchaku and Leonardo’s Katanas to earn TMNT-themed in-game goodies. Cowabunga is available until 9 AM ET on February 27, 2024!

With the weapons, return the Driftboard and Pizza Party, and come out of your shell—all while doing Cowabunga Quests to get Ooze. As you get more Ooze, you’ll advance farther on Cowabunga’s no-cost reward track! One of Donnie’s most brilliant creations, the Turtle Blimp Glider, is the track’s ultimate prize.

Cowabunga’s Premium Reward Track upgrade will immediately unlock the Shredder Outfit for you if you purchase it. You may unlock the Premium Reward Track, an additional layer of prizes, at the same pace as the free reward track. The Super Shredder Outfit is the track’s ultimate prize, enhanced by the same mutagen that gave the turtles their lives. Do you like LEGO® Fortnite? Super Shredder and Shredder both possess a LEGO.

UNLEASH YOUR TURTLE POWER

The four skills you possess are the same regardless of the weapon you’re using—Leonardo’s Katanas, Raphael’s Sai, Michelangelo’s Nunchaku, or Donatello’s Staff—with slightly varied stats based on the weapon:

  • Attack: Continue swinging by holding down the main firing button.
  • Air Attack: To launch a deadly air attack, press the main firing button while in the air.
  • Dash Attack: To charge your weapon, press the secondary fire button.
  • Double Jump: While in the air, do a jump using one of your equipped weapons!

Each of the four weapons’ three charges lasts for ten seconds before replenishing. The Dash Attack and Air Attack both utilize charges. These weapons may be obtained from vending machines, supply drops, and chests!

TURTLE TIME IS HERE!
Pizza and 180s are for whenever, fighting is just for when you have no other option. There are TMNT-themed driftboards waiting for you to ride on the island! Try your hand at some tricks before indulging in a spicy Pizza Party box.

Remind yourself of the wonders of freshly made pizza. Pizza Party boxes come with eight healthy pieces of pizza that you can enjoy by yourself or share with your group. With a 100-shield limit, each slice concurrently heals health and shields. Locate Pizza Party boxes on the ground, in chests, and available for purchase from Splinter for Bars!

COWABUNGA QUESTIONS
Passing via the sewer pipes on the Island? Purchasing Sai by Raphael from a vending machine? Congratulations for finishing Cowabunga Quests simultaneously! You may unlock additional in-game goodies in Cowabunga Quests by earning more Ooze by fulfilling specific tasks! To monitor the remaining awards and your Ooze, navigate to the Cowabunga tab in the Lobby. (Hint: there are quests in creator-made islands that grant experience points!)

You can see the free reward track and the $1,000 V-Bucks Premium Reward Track upgrade on this screen. Eleven unlocking goodies, including the OOZE Wrap and the TMNT Pizza Back Bling, may be found on the free reward track. Slapping isn’t only for Mikey; one of the benefits is getting to play the Kuro Kabuto Bass while playing on the island! The last prize on this course is the Turtle Blimp Glider.

You won’t need to do any more quests to gain extra prizes if you purchase the Premium Reward Track upgrade. These awards will be unlocked when you unlock rewards in the free reward track. The Shredder Outfit will be sent to you instantly when you purchase this upgrade! LEGO and Fortnite styles are both present in Shredder.

Eleven items are available for unlocking on the Premium Reward Track, including Super Shredder’s Cape Back Bling, the Steel Claws Pickaxe, and the ultimate reward—Super Shredder! This outfit combines LEGO and Fortnite styles.

ATTACK NINJA! Proceed: 6 Stages of Cowabunga

SENSEI, HAI: SPLINTER IN THE SHOP!
It’s not always necessary for a stoic sage to remain in the background. For all of Cowabunga, master of ninjutsu and father of the Turtles via adoption, Splinter, is available in the Fortnite Shop! The Splinter Outfit is designed in a LEGO and Fortnite style.

Inside scoop: April O’Neil and turtles are back at the store!
Did you think Shredder would make the turtles cower? Not cool. The Donatello, Michelangelo, Raphael, and Leonardo outfits will be back in the shop for the duration of Cowabunga.

Today is the start of Cowabunga, so hopefully you enjoy turtles!
