After going on sale for less than a week, the Apple Vision Pro has already been spotted in some odd locations. It doesn’t seem like a good idea for anyone to wear them while driving, as we’ve seen others use Apple Vision Pro while operating an aircraft. However, not everyone has decided to search for memes. It’s true that some users have made creative use of the Apple Vision Pro. a manner that would not be feasible in the absence of it.
The Fortnite livestream known as CouRage is one of those individuals. In a video that was uploaded on YouTube, CouRage said that he was going to play a game of Fortnite and work toward a few objectives. He was keeping track of these objectives in a note that he was sending using the Apple Vision Pro. And he was up to more than just that.
The YouTuber and broadcaster use several features of the Apple Vision Pro to accomplish a range of activities throughout the 10-minute video. Certain capabilities, like the ability to conduct FaceTime calls while playing games, might make spatial computing quite advantageous for certain users.While utilizing the excellent passthrough capability of the headset to play Fortnite on his PC, CouRage also engaged in other activities.
Winner, winner…
We’ve previously seen the ending of CouRage’s movie, but the major goal was to test whether he could pull off the dub while sporting the Apple Vision Pro. He succeeded, maybe demonstrating the ultra-low latency experience that the headset’s array of cameras and twin 4K screens can provide. However, the YouTuber wanted to test the headset, so he didn’t just wear it while playing the game.
As we’ve already reported, the video also shows Safari being used to view a Twitch feed in addition to the FaceTime call and Notes app making an appearance. Given the absence of official Apple Vision Pro apps, Safari is naturally the only method to access a variety of streaming services—Netflix and YouTube are only two examples. But for those who prefer not to use Safari to watch their favorite YouTubers, there’s always the Juno app. It’s interesting to note that, despite its earlier statements, YouTube has now acknowledged that an app is on their pipeline.
That will definitely change in the near future, and if you have $3,499 lying around, the present model is still an excellent choice. Alternatively, hold off until the next release, which should be even better and somewhat less expensive.
