HIGHLIGHTS

To survive the battles in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, Ichiban and company will require armor, and these early-game options are excellent.
Each character in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth has access to one set of head, torso, and foot gear in addition to two accessories.
Certain armor components, such as the Classy Hat and Wind Sneakers, improve critical rate and speed, among other stats.
Rare armor with great defensive stats and extra effects is available to players. Examples of such armor are the Nouveau Riche Crown and Metal Shin Guards.

Like other turn-based role-playing games, Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth allows its characters to equip many sets of armor. A single piece of head, body, and foot gear may be equipped by each character. For instance, a shirt can fit the body, a cap is useful for the head, and shoes are comfortable for the feet.

It is also possible for a character to have two accessories equipped at once, and the majority of armor is available to all jobs and characters. Even though clothes are hidden during fights, men like Ichiban can even wear gowns as armor in the progressive game Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth. So let’s outfit our heroes with some boss gear for the early hours of the day.

Wind Sneakers

18 Defense/15 Magic Defense/10 Speed

Where: Fiddler Brand
There are no unique qualities connected to the Wind Sneakers. Nevertheless, these shoes will provide players with the advantage of enhancing three stats, in contrast to many early armor parts. While defense is always a good thing, in many turn-based role-playing games, players will be able to outpace their opponents by gaining more attributes like speed.

Additionally, these shoes are available for purchase from stores throughout town, such as the Fiddler Brand store. The Wind Sneakers will work just fine while people wait for something better with more benefits.

Classy Hat

18 Defense/14 Magic Defense

Where: Dolphins in Purple
A decent all-around hat that will offer strong defense on both sides is the Classy Hat. For instance, the Purple Dolphins store sells it. The ability of this armor to raise the critical rate of assaults by 10% is its strongest feature. The benefits of the classy hat will be amplified if players possess an innate capacity to land critical strikes, as this effect stacks.

A few jobs in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth will also have built-in effects, so if players use their cards correctly, they might truly make a crucial contribution.

Magic Defense/16 Defense Longcoat

Where: The Dolphins in Purple
A piece of body armor called the Longcoat is available in the Purple Dolphins store. While its defensive power isn’t significantly greater than that of the Classy Hat, it does come with a unique benefit. When a character wears this, they get elemental protection against attacks that use ice.

A droplet of water serves as a symbol for both ice and water in this game. That’s okay since it reduces the amount of information players need to retain, which is crucial in an RPG with a lot of systems.

Metal Shin Guards

21 Defense/17 Magic Defense

Where: Unplanned Drop
Initially, players will need to get fortunate in order to locate the Metal Shin Guards, which are foot-based armor. Similar to other non-store things in the game, it may be obtained through either enemy-based or roguelike-style maze-like dungeons, which become accessible around one-third of the way into the game.

The Metal Shin Guards are a fantastic piece of high-status foot armor, should gamers manage to obtain a pair. Additionally, it will lessen the harm caused by blunt-force trauma, represented by a fist. This covers both unarmed combat and the use of tools like crowbars and bats.

Hellish Cape

18 Defense/15 Magic Defense

Where: Unplanned Drop
It appears as though the Hellish Cape was designed to transform a party member into a vampire. Although its stats aren’t as high as those of some of the other top body-based armors in Infinite Wealth, its defensive bonus will be quite helpful. When a character wears this, their evasion rate increases at the beginning of their turn.

Other defense attributes are meaningless if heroes are impervious to attacks. Although luck will play a role because it’s not an automatic booster, it’s still a useful piece of armor to come upon at random.

Wetsuit

18 Defense/15 Magic Defense

Where: There’s No Surf Life
Although it would appear that the wetsuit is only available for the Aquanaut Job in the game, it isn’t. This close-knit body armour is available at No Surf Life, a surfer-themed store. It’s another illustration of an item of gear where the buff factor outweighs the stats.

Characters may be shielded from all status effects by wearing a wetsuit, and the game has a ton of these assaults in addition to standard RPG fare like poison and paralysis. In Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, arming the whole four-party squad with wetsuits is a smart move, particularly when facing a monster who uses a lot of debuffs.

Pink Ribbon

14 Defense/12 Magic Defense

Where: White Shore Boutique
As strange as it may seem to some, all heroes may benefit from wearing the pink ribbon. It’s unfortunate that armor isn’t shown in the game after it’s donned, because it would be amazing to witness a fierce character like Kazuma wearing a large pink ribbon and not caring.

The White Shore Boutique sells the armor for a reasonable price. Although its stats are mediocre, its ability to boost MP by five makes it cool. That may not seem like much, but in the heat of combat, every little bit counts.

Nouveau Riche Crown

21 Defense/17 Magic Defense

Where: Unplanned Drop
Finding the Nouveau Riche Crown is extremely difficult, and your greatest chance of finding one could be to save NPCs from the aforementioned maze. Although its overall numbers are outstanding for an early helmet, the booster effect is much more impressive. It has the potential to raise players’ earnings, which will aid in their acquisition of a great deal in the game.

In the beginning of Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, players must battle a lot of adversaries and sell treasure in order to build up a sizable bank account. Although it might be tedious at times, the Nouveau Riche Crown is fantastic since it stacks the effect if you equip more than one character.
