Although there is a decent selection of costumes in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, certain well-liked designs were left out; nonetheless, there are rumors that DLC may be coming.

HIGHLIGHTS

  • Although they were absent from the most recent game, fans are hoping that Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will ultimately feature their cherished outfits from the first game.
  • Fans were perplexed since Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 lacks the second Scarlet Spider suit, despite the other two being included. We also miss the four Spider Armors very much.
  • Fans would like to see the Last Stand costume come back in the future because, despite not being iconic, it has acquired a lot of respect because of its leather jacket. It would also be good to see the dark and vintage outfits reappear.

No game is flawless, even if Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 was an excellent PlayStation exclusive that deserved to be nominated for game of the year. Regarding the Insomniac Games title, fans have voiced a number of grievances. Some of them are baseless or exaggerated, while some criticisms are valid. A common complaint among players is the lack of variety in the game’s clothing options. The main grievance gamers have is that many cherished costumes from the previous Marvel Spider-Man games are absent. Arguments against innovative designs, like Miles Morales’ Evolved Suit, and irritation over Peter Parker owning too many movie suits are common.

Thankfully, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 DLC has leaked, and fans are optimistic that it will still be available soon. Plans for this possible downloadable content have probably changed since it was revealed as part of Insomniac Games’ disastrous 2023 leak. One of the packs implies that Carnage would battle Spider-Man, which seems improbable considering that he appears in the Venom spin-off game. Nevertheless, the villain-focused Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 DLC could still materialize, and if it does, it would be the ideal moment to include some of the outfits that were absent from the original game.

There Are Plenty of Awesome Suits for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 to Bring Back

The Incredibly Varied Spider-Armors Might All Return
Regretfully, the four Spider-Man armors that were included in the first game were not included in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. These outfits are nonexistent, whether it be the futuristic Ends of the Earth gear, the yellow and black popped collar type design, the original metallic armor with its hockey pad-like appearance, or the Spider-Man Worldwide suit. The metallic surfaces of these designs could have appeared out of date in the current game, but perhaps they were a casualty of what Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 director Bryan Intihar had said to IGN about suits needing to be “PS5-sized.” Nevertheless, it would be good to see all four outfits return, especially since a DLC could be in the works.

Scarlet Spider 2 Seems Like The Strangest Outfit Available

It’s a bit of a puzzle why the second of the three Scarlet Spider outfits was left off, especially since Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 included the other two. Many would want to see this outfit reinstated soon. It may have been deleted because Ben Reilly, the less well-liked of the two clones, utilized it instead of Kaine Parker, or because the Superior Spider-Man design has a similar color palette. It is strange that one of Miguel O’Hara’s distinctive outfits cannot be fitted for Peter, given that he may still don one of his costumes.

The Dark Suit Is a Headturner and Has Some Interesting Ideas

The black and red stealth suit from the Spider-Man/Deadpool comic book series appears to have served as inspiration for this outfit, and fans of the witty pair were pleased to see it included in Insomniac’s first Marvel Spider-Man project. Felicia Hardy gave Peter this gorgeous black and red design as a present, but it’s also a delightful throwback to Peter’s days with the Merc With a Mouth. Marvel’s Spider-Man 2’s Black Cat level was an incredible scene, but it would have been even more memorable if Miles had received a new Dark Suit in exchange for Black Cat’s assistance.

The Final Stand Suit Is Distinctive Among The Others

After the release of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, a lot of fans have been talking about the Last Stand costume on social media, expressing their desire to see it come back. The outfit is based on a dark world in which Peter Parker turned into a violent anti-hero instead of upholding Spider-Man’s no-kill rule. Given its brief run in the comics, this is not the most iconic Webslinger costume, but it still looks fantastic and stands out thanks to the leather jacket, which makes it seem more laid-back than most of the outfits Marvel fans would anticipate seeing the amiable neighborhood hero in.
