Developer Arrowhead Game Studios has a huge multiplayer hit on its hands with Helldivers 2, which saw an incredibly successful launch that resulted in a tremendous rush of people fighting against automatons, aliens, and more in a cosmic conflict. Additionally, as it addresses more of the game’s persistent server and stability problems, more expansions and features are being worked on to maintain the interest of the game’s sizable, recently discovered audience.
Leaked Video of Helldivers 2 Reveals Mech and Vehicle Action
More player-leaked footage of Helldivers 2’s upcoming gameplay enhancements has surfaced. User JayTechTV (@TheRealJTV4K60) shared video footage of an off-road cargo vehicle and a Helldivers 2 mech in action on Twitter. In one video, two troops may be seen shooting at one another while operating different walking combat mech suits. The mechs were exposed by more recent Helldivers 2 leaks, and Arrowhead has already said that it intends to ultimately include them in the game.
The Recon Vehicle, a second playable Helldivers 2 vehicle, was seen in another gameplay footage. The JayTechTV video, which surfaced soon after the most recent Helldivers 2 update, had three players working together to use a stratagem beacon to call forth a Recon Vehicle that resembled a truck. At least three Helldivers can fit inside the car: one is seated in the front passenger seat, one is in the spinning machine gun turret, and one is driving. The player situated in the passenger seat has the option to shoot by leaning out of the car window. The film seems to only partly incorporate the Recon Vehicle concept. The car’s engine, wheels, and weaponry were silent, and several of its parts lacked textures, indicating that the necessary sound effects were still missing from the game files. Still, it could be driven and operated normally.
Regarding how these gamers were gaining early access to these planned innovations, rumors started to circulate. There were suggestions that testers and developers were testing on live servers by introducing incomplete mechanisms into random games. Some suspected that modders were using hacks or changes to obtain features that were hidden in the game’s files but not yet completely published, a practice known as data mining.

Data mining and leaks are often frowned upon by publishers and developers because they have the potential to ruin a game’s well-thought-out marketing strategies or reveal incomplete work to the public. Certain data mining techniques can also have an impact on a game’s security, giving cheaters the opportunity to compromise Helldivers 2 and disrupt other players’ experiences. No matter how the information was gathered, Helldivers 2 fans are undoubtedly delighted by this sneak peek at what’s coming up next.
