All of the Big Video Games Will Be Released Soon on the PS5 and PS4

All anticipated PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 game releases.

PlayStation owners were busy in 2023. Among the big releases of the year were Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, Street Fighter 6, Resident Evil 4 (remake), Diablo 4, and Final Fantasy 16. The PlayStation 5 catalog is growing, and it seems likely that the best is still to come for Sony’s current platform. Until then, cross-generation games for the PlayStation 4 continue to get affection, giving those who haven’t upgraded something to look forward to.

Which PS5 titles will be available on global stores shortly? Which PS5 games will be released in 2024? Every noteworthy PS5 and PS4 project is included in the forthcoming calendar, along with any stated North American release dates.

Games for PS5 & PS4 Will Be Released in February 2024
Helldivers, Final Fantasy, and More

February 2024 put the year on a high note, if January had set the tone. There are so many fascinating titles this month. A lot of big games are coming out in the next two weeks, including Persona 3 Reload, Helldivers 2, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, and Skull and Bones, which are just a few of the titles that stand out. Even though not all of these initiatives are receiving favorable publicity, they are nonetheless well-known names that have generated and will continue to generate a lot of discussion, for better or worse. One of Atlus’ best JRPGs, Persona 3 Reload, is a contemporary remake, and the 2024 edition is just as excellent as the original.

Though it is still primarily a cooperative game, Helldivers 2 is a third-person shooter, which sets it apart from its top-down predecessor. Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is a superhero game that is nonetheless worth checking out for anyone who enjoy shooters or are ardent DC fans, despite the game’s poor reviews. Skull & Bones by Ubisoft has had a difficult production cycle with several delays, but maybe everything will come together.

Final Fantasy 7: Rebirth, the biggest PS5 release, will come out in February 2024. The sequel has the potential to be much better than the successful remake/reboot, especially as it may take the plot in a far more unforeseen route.

Dragon’s Dogma, The Ronin’s Ascent, and More

Players may be itching for a little respite after almost six weeks of regular big releases, but they won’t be getting one. Depending on how a few notable names do, March 2024 may end up being one of the best months of the year. After spending some time in Steam’s early access program, The Outlast Trials will be coming to consoles, and the spin-off game provides an engaging multiplayer experience. However, as the game differs greatly from the previous installments, ardent fans should watch a few gameplay videos before making the purchase.

WWE 2K24 may not be everyone’s favorite poison, but given the franchise’s recent success with two solid games, it should do well. Alone in the Dark, a remake of the seminal horror game from the ’90s, is a more erratic release. The future project’s quality might go either way, given the series hasn’t created a noteworthy game in almost ten years. I hope it turns out well.

The simultaneous release of Dragon’s Dogma 2 and Rise of the Ronin in March 2024—the latter of which is a PS5 exclusive—will greatly enhance the action RPG genre. Arguably one of Capcom’s most anticipated games, the former seems to be a solid improvement over its predecessor.
