The majority of the conversation around Diablo 4 has so far focused on its classes. To find out which ones won, look at this Diablo 4 Tier List.

Action RPGs have a long history, which is further defined by Diablo 4. Despite some ups and downs for the series, Diablo 4 has been favorably reviewed thus far. It is widely regarded as a pivotal moment in the series, and for good reason.

The wide variety of character classes is one feature that entices gamers. Although Blizzard is always improving them, the current roster of classes is lively, well-balanced, and has distinct play styles. While some classes are more capable than others, none are completely unusable.

Marc Santos, February 5, 2024, updated: Diablo 4’s Patch 1.3.0 drastically altered the class balance of the game once more, nerfing some very strong classes and boosting others that performed poorly. Considering the early leveling experience of new players, the ranks on this tier list have not changed. But to give seasoned players a better sense of what to anticipate from them, we’ve gone back and reviewed each class to see how they do in the Season 3 endgame. But remember that overall power might still change across classes based on Blizzard’s mid-season balancing decisions.

Best Diablo 4 Classes: The Diablo 4 Tier List

With the most recent round of updates, Blizzard has made a number of changes to the classes in Diablo 4. The power dynamics between the classes were drastically altered by some of these contentious reforms. The class tier list that follows shows how each class stacks up in terms of overall power and ease of play, ranked from best to worst and according to how strong they are over Diablo 4’s entire lifespan, including the early game. Throughout the course of the game, Blizzard will undoubtedly make changes to the classes, but for now, here is how they currently stand:

S Rank: Outlaw

When it comes to the finest Diablo 4 classes, the Rogue has jumped to the top. Using a variety of maneuvers and traps, rogos are incredibly effective and easy to deploy, destroying demons by the dozen. Gaining the most out of a rogue requires strategic placement and certain builds, but the rewards for players’ labor are always outstanding.

Because Druids and Barbarians have gotten boosts, Rogues have subsequently dropped from the top rank in the endgame as of Season of the Construct. Though Rogues aren’t inherently awful, you’ll typically find these two classes outperforming Rogues in terms of monster and dungeon farming. Currently, Rogues are firmly positioned at A-tier in the endgame.

A Rank: Druid and Necromancer

The Druid class still levels more slowly than other classes, even with all the bonuses. But as of Season of the Construct, its late-game compositions with Lightning Storm and Tornado are superior than ever. A Druid can move like a real force of nature through Nightmare Dungeons once they are equipped appropriately. The only thing preventing this class from being S-tier is how hard it is to control their Spirit as they gain experience.

On the other side, necromancers enjoy a highly simplified process from beginning to end. With summoned minions and direct damage strikes, they are excellent at every stage of the game; but, their performance with Bone Spear in the endgame is truly remarkable. By the time this class reaches the S-tier in the endgame, they can easily defeat Uber bosses. Because of the class’s enhancements in Season of the Construct, Corpse Explosion and Shadow-based builds should be very strong.
