Ratchet and Clank to continue their intergalactic adventures on PlayStation 3 in new title slated for release next year.
Daring duo Ratchet and Clank are far from finishing their Quest for Booty, as Insomniac has hinted that an all-new game starring the space stars is set to launch in 2009. The untitled game receives mention at the end of Ratchet and Clank: Quest for Booty when a splash screen proclaims, “The Quest continues in Fall 2009…” Whether the game will ship as a full retail package or another PlayStation Network download remains uncertain. Given the short length of Quest for Booty, it seems likely that this new title will be a direct sequel. In the wait for the new game, definitely give Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction a whirl. You can then move onto the download-only sequel, Quest for Booty, this Thursday when it hits Sony’s online store.
